Un mathcore expérimental aussi labyrinthique que passionnant, complètement hors des sentiers battus. à la rigueur, on pourrait tenter des rapprochements avec des groupes comme Dysrhythmia, et encore... Bref, Unique ! Poesy Rider

Like its continuously invoked birds in motion, Murmurations delivers a frenzied flurry of symphonic prog, math rock, ambient, avant-garde, samba, jazz; a joyful eruption of multicolored feathers in flight. Precise and measured to be sure, but sportively delightful as well.

Bruce Cockburn,, Rickie Lee Jones, Paul Weller, Andy Partridge, Roddy Frame, James Grant, Duncan Sheik, and Jared Leach are the first artists to come to mind as I listen to this. And Ben has such an incredible poetic wit and inimitable (and winning) singing style to go along with his incredible guitar (and multi-instrumental) skills. Every song on this album is an absolute delight to hear--first time and repeatedly. A top 10 album for 2022. wafiii
